Taylan graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Economics in 1993. Currently he is an International Tax Law LLM candidate of King’s College London for 2020. He has key expertise in corporate taxation, taxation of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions and public offerings. His focuses are structuring for group companies, international taxation, tax disputes and personal consulting. Taylan has considerable expertise in dealing with the tax consequences of business or investment transactions that cross international borders and is actively involved in advising foreign companies on structuring their business activities. Taylan is the co-author of important publications on taxation both in English and in Turkish. He is ranked as a leading individual in Legal 500 as a tax expert. In addition, he has also received many rankings as a leading individual in International Tax Review and IFLR 1000.
After working for reputable Turkish law firms as a senior tax manager and a tax partner, he started working as a “tax restructuring partner” at a well-known international firm. In 2019 he joined Gökçe in an off-counsel position.
